First

I lay awake this night
Willing the chaos inside me
To quiet.

I have forced myself
to believe in the
possibility of closing the
wounds left

from a love
reluctantly abandoned.

    The last two lines really got me, I especially like "reluctantly abandoned." I can really, really relate to that. A lot of emotion came up for me with those words. Great choice.
